Beas kund Trek

It's a 3-day, 2-night trek, starting from Solang Valley and reaching Beas Kund at an altitude of approximately 12,772 ft. The trek offers views of the Pir Panjal range, Hanuman Tibba, and other peaks, along with lush green meadows and glaciers.

Trek Route:

• The trek typically starts from Manali, with Solang Valley as the base. 

• The route progresses through Solang Nallah, Dhundi, and Bakarthach, before reaching Beas Kund. 

• You'll encounter lush meadows, including Bakarthach, a beautiful grazing ground, and get glimpses of the Pir Panjal range and various peaks. 

• The trail also leads to the Beas Kund glacier. 

Best Time to Visit:

• The best time to undertake the Beas Kund trek is during the summer months (May to October) when the weather is pleasant, and the meadows are green. 

• The summer season also offers clear views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

• The trek is known for its serene environment and views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 1

Drive from Manali to Dhundi via Palchan. Trek from Dhundi to Palchhani Thatch 

Drive Distance: 14 km | Drive Duration: 1.5 hours | Trek Distance: 1.5 km | Trek Duration: 1 hour
Altitude Gain: 9,317 ft to 10,134 ft

 Day 2

Palchhani Thatch to Lohali

Trek distance: 4 km | Trek Duration: 4-5 hours

Altitude gain: 10,134 ft to 11,050 ft

Day 3

Lohali to Beas Kund and Lady Leg and back to Lohali

Trek distance: 5 km | Trek Duration: 7-8 hours

Altitude gain: 11050 ft to 12,772 ft and back

Day 4

Lohali to Dhundi. Drive back to Manali  

Trek distance: 4 km | Trek Duration: 4 hours

Altitude loss: 11050 ft to 9,317 ft | Drive back cost: Rs 3,600 per vehicle to be shared by trekkers
