At Treksang, we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms for cancellations, refunds, and trek changes.
Your booking is confirmed only after the required advance payment is received. The remaining balance must be paid before the trek begins, as communicated during the booking process.
If you cancel your booking, the refund will be processed according to the following timeline:
More than 30 days before the trek: Eligible for a refund after applicable processing charges.
15–30 days before the trek: Partial refund may be provided.
Less than 15 days before the trek: No refund will be applicable.
Treksang reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trek due to:
Extreme weather conditions
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Road closures
Safety concerns
Any unavoidable circumstances beyond our control
In such cases, participants may be offered an alternative batch, a credit for a future trek, or another solution according to Treksang's policy.
If a participant does not arrive at the reporting point on time or leaves the trek after it has started, no refund will be provided.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Refund processing may take 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider and bank.
The following charges may not be refundable:
Payment gateway charges
Bank transaction fees
Government taxes
Permit fees (if already issued)
Requests to transfer a booking to another batch are subject to availability and must be approved by Treksang.
